

Crown Prince meets Abu Dhabi crown prince

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met on Monday with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and the deputy supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
At the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, Crown Prince Al Hussein conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to Sheikh Mohamed and wishes of further progress and prosperity for the people of the UAE.
His Royal Highness affirmed the deep-rooted, historical ties that the two countries share, cemented by King Abdullah and UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Crown Prince expressed Jordan’s keenness to bolster ties with the UAE at all levels, in the best interest of the two peoples.
The two sides affirmed the importance of maintaining coordination and consultations between Jordan and the UAE on all issues, and in the service of regional security and stability.
His Royal Highness said he was happy to visit the UAE, which has declared 2018 as the “Year of Zayed”, in memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
For his part, Sheikh Mohamed voiced the UAE’s appreciation of Jordan and the efforts of His Majesty in the service of Arab causes and achieving security and stability in the region, reaffirming his country’s keenness on strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom in various areas.
While in Abu Dhabi, the Crown Prince also visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
