Crown Prince meets with representatives of Pearson in London

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, met with representatives of Pearson at London South Bank Technical College on Tuesday.

 

The Crown Prince highlighted the long-standing partnership between Jordan’s Ministry of Education and Pearson, a leading company in lifelong learning that provides the Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) programme in Jordan.

His Royal Highness emphasised the value of the BTEC programme, which supports learners with practical, hands-on learning experiences with the aim of increasing graduates’ chances of obtaining quality employment in technical and professional fields, in addition to qualifying teachers.

The Crown Prince shared, during the meeting, the National Council for Future Technology’s plans to leverage the specialisations provided through the BTEC programme to advance the educational process in Jordan.

Their Royal Highnesses toured the London South Bank Technical College’s facilities and were briefed on the teaching and technical training methods implemented there.

Jordan’s Ambassador to the UK Manar Dabbas, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
