His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday sent a cable to Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoomon the occasion of his country’s independence day.

In the cable, King Abdullah wished the president good health, and the people of the Maldives continuedprogress and prosperity.
