His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to Ram Nath Kovind to congratulate him on assuming his term as president of India.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed his keenness to advance the deep ties of friendship between Jordan and India, wishing the president success and good health, and the people of India continued progress and prosperity.
