His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his election as president of France.

In a cable to the president-elect, King Abdullah expressed Jordan’s keenness to continue building on its deep ties of friendship with France and to work with it towards achieving global peace and stability.

His Majesty also voiced his wishes of success for Macron, and for the people of France continued progress and prosperity.
