King meets with CEOs of leading Chinese companies in Shanghai

His Majesty King Abdullah II, in Shanghai on Tuesday, met with CEOs of leading Chinese companies to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation and expertise exchange.
During the meeting, organised in cooperation with the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and attended by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, His Majesty emphasised Jordan’s commitment to deepening relations with China, and expanding economic and investment partnerships across various fields.
The King pointed to recent strides in enhancing Jordan’s business environment, its strategic location as a gateway to regional and global markets, and its skilled workforce.
The attendees, representing companies operating across the pharmaceutical, food, engineering, agricultural, and aviation sectors, expressed their interest in exploring opportunities for cooperation with Jordan’s public and private sectors.
Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, Jordan’s Ambassador to China Hussam Husseini, and China’s Ambassador to Jordan Guo Wei attended the meeting.
