Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, accompanied by First Lady Doris Schmidauer, is scheduled to start on Tuesday a three-day official visit to Jordan, during which he will hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah on bilateral cooperation and current regional developments.

During the visit, his first to the region, President Van der Bellen, who is accompanied by a delegation of senior officials and an economic delegation, is also due to launch the Austro-Jordanian Economic Forum, with the participation of businesspeople from the two countries.
