Royal Decree approves reshuffle of PM Razzaz’s Cabinet
A Royal Decree was issued Thursday, approving a reshuffle of Prime Minister Omar Razzaz’s Cabinet.
The Royal Decree approved the appointment of the following:
1. Muhyiddine Touq as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
2. Tayseer Nueimi as Minister of Education
3. Saleh Kharabsheh as Minister of Environment
4. Ibrahim Shahahdeh as Minister of Agriculture
5. Mohamad Ississ as Minister of Finance
6. Amjad Adaileh as Minister of State for Media Affairs
7. Mohammad Khalaileh as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs
8. Basim Tweissi as Minister of Culture
9. Fares Braizat as Minister of Youth
10. Wissam Rabadi as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
11. Khalid Saif as Minister of Transport
The ministers were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah at Al Husseiniya Palace.
Prime Minister Razzaz, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, and Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh attended the swearing-in.
A Royal Decree had also been issued, accepting the resignation of the following, as of 7 November 2019:
1. Rajai Muasher as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State
2. Abdul Nasser Abul Basal as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs
3. Ezzedine Kanakrieh as Minister of Finance
4. Jumana Ghunaimat as Minister of State for Media Affairs
5. Ibrahim Shahahdeh as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Environment
6. Anmar Khasawneh as Minister of Transport
7. Mohammad Abu Rumman as Minister of Culture and Minister of Youth
8. Mohamad Ississ as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Minister of State for Economic Affairs
King Abdullah received the outgoing ministers at Al Husseiniya Palace on Thursday and thanked them for their efforts.
