Royal Decree appoints Ghazou as Court of Cassation president

A Royal Decree was issued on Tuesday appointing Mohammad Odeh Saleh Ghazou as president of the Court of Cassation, as of May 23, 2017.

Another Royal Decree had been issued approving the resignation of president of the Court of Cassation Hisham Tal, upon his request, as of the same date.

His Majesty King Abdullah sent a letter to Tal, expressing his gratitude to the outgoing court president.

King Abdullah commended the efforts of Tal, who also served as president of the Judicial Council.

His Majesty also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Tal’s contributions to the judiciary.
