King visits Civil Defence Directorate

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, visited the Civil Defence Directorate (CDD) headquarters on Monday and checked on its services.

During the visit, King Abdullah met with CDD Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah and called for constantly developing the CDD to ensure that its services are up to the highest standards.

His Majesty expressed pride in the advanced level of the CDD and the professionalism of its personnel.

The King was briefed by Bazaiah on the department’s development plans.

His Majesty was also shown the CDD’s command and control vehicle, which is equipped with advanced telecom systems to function as a mobile operations room that monitors fieldwork through a camera drone.
