His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call with King Felipe VI of Spain on Friday, expressed his utter condemnation and denunciation of the heinous and cowardly terror attack that targeted Barcelona on Thursday, killing many innocent people and injuring scores others.

King Abdullah reaffirmed that Jordan stands with Spain in the fight against terrorism, which threatens global peace and security and contravenes the principles of Abrahamic faiths and the noble values of humanity.

In the phone call, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the families of the innocent victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
