His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received Foreign Minister of Cyprus Ioannis Kasoulides, who delivered a letter to His Majesty from Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades.

In the letter, President Anastasiades praised the advanced level of ties between Jordan and Cyprus and called for building on them.

The president also affirmed his country’s support for Jordan as it seeks to bolster its partnership with the European Union.

During the meeting with Kasoulides, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, discussions covered efforts to reach political solutions to regional crises.

The two sides also exchanged views on the regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic strategy.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan attended the meeting.
