King praises efforts of Royal Commission to Enhance the National Integrity System
His Majesty King Abdullah II praised efforts of the Royal commission entrusted with evaluating and following up on the implementation of the Executive Plan of National Integrity Charter.
At a meeting with head and members of the commission at Al Husseiniya Palace on Wednesday, the King hailed accomplishment that have been made by the commission over the past two years to enhance the national integrity system in coordination and consultations with various agencies.
The King said that the integrity and anti-corruption law that led to the formation of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC), are an important reform product that has been made by the commission within the recommendations it presented after relentless work and dialogue with all segments of the society.
His Majesty urged all agencies to benefit from achievements of the Royal Commission to Enhance the National Integrity System as well as its reports and recommendations to enhance integrity.
Head of the Commission Rajai Muasher presented a briefing on cooperation and coordination of the commission with various institutions to achieve the King's vision for reforms.
King Abdullah sent a letter to Muasher in February 2014 tasking him to chair a Royal commission entrusted with evaluating and following up on the implementation of the Executive Plan of National Integrity Charter.
His Majesty said the National Integrity System constitutes a milestone in the process of comprehensive reform which seeks to provide a better life for our people through boosting the democratic approach, fostering the values of justice, respecting citizens’ rights and safeguarding their freedoms.
