His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with Cypriot Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides and discussed cooperation between Jordan and Cyprus in the field of defence, as well as the latest regional developments.

Discussions at the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, also covered the need to build on the talks held by King Abdullah and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades during the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, which was held at the Dead Sea.

The two sides reviewed efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic approach, in addition to work to arrive at political solutions to regional crises.
