His Majesty King Abdullah has received cables on the anniversary of the late King Hussein's birthday, which falls on Thursday, 14 November.

King Abdullah received cables from senior officials and officers, and heads of security agencies.

Crown Prince Al Hussein received similar cables on the occasion.

Officials paid tribute to the late King Hussein's efforts to modernise Jordan and his honourable stances on national and pan-Arab issues, stressing that the Kingdom, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, is steadily moving forward, and noting His Majesty’s efforts in service of Arab and Islamic causes.
