His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Saint George Church in Egypt’s Tanta city, killing dozens of innocent victims and injuring others.

In a cable to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, King Abdullah voiced his condemnation of the cowardly act, stressing Jordan's solidarity with Egypt in its efforts to combat terrorism and preserve security and stability.

His Majesty also expressed his deepest condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
