His Majesty King Abdullah II’s program: His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania, paid tribute to victims of Amman's 2005 bombings. His Majesty took part in the Summit of South American and Arab Countries in Riyadh, as well as held separate talks with the Saudi monarch and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In Al Manama, His Majesty held talks with the Bahraini monarch. In Amman, His Majesty met with concerned authorities to discuss weather conditions such as the flash floods the capital saw. In addition, His Majesty swore in new ministers and the new President of the Ombudsman Bureau. His Majesty checked on the health of those injured in a shooting incident inside a police training facility east of Amman and condoled the families of the victims, held talks with the President of Cyprus, met with the president of Norway, and received the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Director, His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended a graduation ceremony of officers at the Royal Military College, and received the Chairman of the Ugandan Chiefs of Staff and held talks on cooperation between the two countries in the military fields as well as efforts to fight terrorism.
