Jordan First
In 2002, His Majesty King Abdullah II announced the slogan "Jordan First", aimed at fortifying the foundations of a modern democratic state through a an action plan designed to entrench the spirit of belonging among citizens, who would all work as partners in building and developing Jordan.

The concept of "Jordan First" stresses that Jordanian interests are above any other interests. It seeks to spread a culture of respect and tolerance and enhance the principles of parliamentary government, rule of the law, public freedoms, accountability, transparency, justice and equality.
